Sarplast (West Africa) Limited is a diversified Engineering Company devoted to the practice of Engineering construction. The company was incorporated in Nigeria in 1993. Sarplast (West Africa) Limited has been working with Sarplast Iniziative Industriaili S.p.a, Pisa, Italy, Meregalli & C Srl, Milano, Italy and Studio Ing. G. Pietrangeli, Roma, Italy in Nigeria since 1995.
We have a staff strength 322 Nigerians and 4 expatriate staffs. Sarplast Iniziative Industriaili S.p.a has been in existence for over 25 years and offers a worldwide range of experience in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GPR) Pipes and fittings for water and industrial liquid distribution.
Some of the countries in which they have been involved in water distribution and other pipeline services include Italy, Spain, Korea, Kenya, Ethiopia, Jordan, Libya, Sierra Leon, Zambia, Tanzania and Nigeria (NNPC, FCDA). Meregalli & C Srl was established in 1935 and its operations involve manufacture and installation of electro mechanical equipment including treatment plants, special pumps, valves etc.
Among the various projects handled are some built in Italy, Mozambique, Tanzania, Nigeria, etc. Studio Ing. G. Pietrangeli was established in 1964, and provides consultancy in design planning and construction in various Civil Engineering Fields.
They have a crack record of having been involved in the execution of the following projects.
110 Nos. Dams 9 Nos. Hydroelectric Projects 1091m Tunnels and Shafts 25Nos. Water supply and distribution Scheme and Irrigation.
14 Nos. Public Health Including Waste Water Schemes 850km Road / Bridges Some of these projects are sited in Italy and the balance spread over the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Columbia, Congo, Cyprus, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Greece, Honduras, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mexico, North Yemen, Romania, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Venezuela, Zambia and Nigeria (FCDA).
In 1996, the companies jointly agreed to work together in Nigeria under Sarplast (WA) Limited with all the combined technical expertise, experience and seasoned personnel.
